Abstract
The objectives of this research were to synthesis and composition about Equations and Solving Equations under a mathematical structure, to develop learning packages on Equations and Solving Equations, in order to gain an efficiency of 80/80, to study the effective index of learning packages and to study the student’s satisfaction towards the material used in learning packages on Equations and Solving Equations. The research has two sections, firstly, to synthesis and composition about Equations and Equations Solving under mathematics structure. The basic statistics used in analyzing the data were based on content analysis, which appraise by 3 mathematical experts. The development of learning packages used a sample group of 30 students. The group was selected by a purposive sampling from Pathomsuksa VI students in schools from the Nakhonsithammarat Provincial Administration Organization. The instruments included the learning packages compiled by a mathematical structure and has learning activities 5E, manuals, achievement test, pre and post achievement test for each unit. These tests were used for comparison against the Ordinary National Education Test and other national tests. Also, a questionnaire to study the satisfaction of students after the learning package was used. The basic statistics were used to analyze the data by mean, standard deviation and the testing hypothesis by t - test dependent sample. The research results were as follows: We have the theorems about equations from a positive rational system and zeroed under addition and multiplication. Then, The solving equations method differs from the student’s text book method. The document quality from mathematical experts was in high level. There was content validity from the mathematical expert’s opinions in developing and synthesizing the learning packages. The efficiency valued at 84.03/82.00 and the effective index was 0.56. The achievement test was higher significant than pre test achievement at .01 level. The students’ satisfaction for the material used in the learning packages was very high level.
