A Study of Community Needs towards Educational Development of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Khon Kaen Campus

The research was aimed to survey community needs towards covering four missions of University including learning and teaching management, research, academic services, art and cultural maintenance. The data were collected through questionnaires taken by representatives from local organizations participating in the survey project concerning needs towards from the study of opinion of the 285 students’ parents in community, 15 leaders in community, who were stakeholders of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. The data were statistically analyzed through percentage and mean. The findings revealed that the topic or what communities needed most was learning by doing, analytical thinking and moral in learning and teaching management aspect. The second one was research funding for community done research in research aspect. The third one was communicated technological knowledge to community in academic services aspect. The last one was strengthening the culture of learning and transmitted to the community. In summary, this research will develop four missions of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan including learning and teaching management, research, academic services, art and cultural maintenance.
