Abstract
The article is concerned with the specific features and difficulties of medical translation. Special attention is paid to the description, analysis, illustration and the ways of overcoming such medical translation issues as pseudo-international words, “false friends” of translator/ interpreter, literal translation as well as interlingual and cross-cultural interference in translation. The present article may be of interest to medical students, health practioners and professionals.
