Abstract
This paper investigates the concept of development in higher education. Since Independence in 1947 there has been a significant expansion and diversification affecting the change in the higher education system. However despite of the tremendous growth in this sector, the achievement in terms of technology is very much poor or negligible. To improve the system in technological manner the concept of smart classes is already in existence also the ICT has added the value to the higher education .Technology infrastructure is also analyzed in the report, on the basis of indicators such as Internet penetration, video conferencing, E- Books, Game-Based Learning etc. We find three pillars to focus the growth on, are Access, Equity and Quality. Development in technology for better education includes the idea and the application of simulation technique, E-library and Edu-next concept and the tablet education (virtual lab, remotely concept, SCI Lab, MET Lab and also the case study. Enhance use of technology, promote new distance delivery methods, encourage industry focused models such as education cities and innovation universities The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of technologies in higher education for upliftment of India.The systematic random sampling technique was used in selecting 50 respondents and questionnaire is used as the data collection method.
