Factor of Prevention in the Web Attack Detection

The new web server plug-in which has advanced web application firewall features such as WAFs and Web Defender. These tools are cross-stand tools mainly to protect web applications installed on web servers. A comparison to WAFs is made which resulting in a good level of its performance. The tools which are WAFs and Web Defender had satisfying results for every comparison for each category of attacks. The attacks are including the XSS or CSS, Code injection, command injection, and path traversal. As the result obtained is good and proved that the tools are extensible, works to be done will be much easier in the future. These tools are able to scan the http requests and responses which cannot be done by other web detection tools. WAFs and Web Defender has features of penetrating testing tools and provide great flexibility and expandability. The design of application maybe affected since many crucial security issues are being ignored and may affect the web functionality and performance.
