Abstract
The main purposes of this paper are to research, design and manufacture the G –shear modulus of measuring apparatus by non-destructive measurement apprpoach through the vibration. The object of the studyis a vertical metalbeam, the top is cantilever éd and the other top is connected to a fly wheel system so that the entire beam can perform free torsional oscillations around its symmetry axis. Optical sensor fixed on the device counts the number of oscillations which the beam can make and sends to the processing board. The shear modulus of materialis determined through the behavior of this beam when the beam is excited to perform torsional oscillations.
