DIGITAL DIPLOMACY: STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

At this moment in time, digital diplomacy has become the most important tool for strengthening the sphere of modern international relations. Digital diplomacy, as a product of globalization and new public diplo- macy, is becoming one of the main directions of the XXI century in the field of diplomacy. This scientific article attempts to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of digital diplomacy and draws conclusions. The author speak- ing about the weakness points to the lack of knowledge of the use of the Internet and social networks and the culture of anonymity, etc. Further, the author talks about the concept of digital diplomacy. In conclusion, the author notes that the approval of digital initiatives is seen as a revolution in the implementa- tion of diplomacy, using ICT, the Internet and social networks, also without denying elements of traditional di- plomacy to strengthen diplomatic relations between states. One of the most important aspects of digital diploma- cy is the use of information technology, social networks and in a sense thereby strengthen diplomatic relations between countries
