REASONS AND FACTORS FOR THE FORMATION OF PSYCHOLOGICAL DEPENDENCE ON GAMBLING ADDICTION

This article describes and analyzes various approaches to understanding the factors of formation of psychological dependence on gambling from the point of view of domestic and foreign psychologists. The study of the problem of gambling addiction in the context of the rapid development of modern technologies and the growing number of patients diagnosed with "pathological attraction to gambling" is gaining more and more rele- vance. The key aspect of studying this phenomenon is the identification of the main internal and external factors that contribute to the formation of dependence. Understanding the causes of addictive behavior allows for better prevention and correction of gambling addiction
