FUNDING OF SOCIAL INCLUSION IN HIGHER EDUCATION: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS IN EU COUNTRIES AND UKRAINE

Introduction. The process of social inclusion is one of the conditions for the development of a society that is open and accessible to everyone. Researches of the financial aspects of the social dimension of the European Higher Education Area reflects different approaches: financing of social inclusion from the standpoint of the obligation of universities to ensure the achievement of sustainable development goals; the effectiveness of existing financing instruments aimed at individuals, institutions or enterprises in order to promote the process of social inclusion; priorities for the formation of international and national budgets; the importance of overcoming financial barriers for persons with disabilities. Purpose. The study is devoted to the issues of financing for social inclusion in higher education, which contributes to wider access and engagement to higher education.
