Abstract
This article deals with the specifics of modernistic discourse of works by the famous Russian writer M. Shishkin. The task of this work is the investigation of methodological orientations of the writer, conceptual basis of which is the modernism, based on the material of the prose of the 90s of the 20th century. The author focuses the attention on the following text components: means and methods of reality reflection, specifics of psychologism, chronotope, features of the narration organization. Consequently, author draws the conclusion that the main individual and author's art intension is implemented in modernistic discourse.
