ДЕРЖАВНЕ РЕГУЛЮВАННЯ ТА НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ ДОБРОБУТ В УКРАЇНІ

Objective. The objective of the article is to define the difference between economic and national welfare, explore how the use of certain instruments of state regulation of the economy affect domestic national welfare. Methods. During the research the method of observation to identify elements of state intervention in the national industry structure is applied. Analysis and synthesis are used in detecting the effects of subsidies to the mining and metallurgical industry. During the research of a particular government regulation type and focusing on its features the method of scientific abstractions is used. Deduction method reveals the existence of national welfare within the public.Results. In the research process it was found that the use of subsidies in the mining and metallurgical industry regulation in Ukraine has a number of positive and negative consequences. Just to the latter deadweight losses in the national welfare are included. State regulation in Ukraine is imperfect and there are several other reasons of that negative effect on the welfare of the country. It is therefore necessary to shape the political, economic and social consciousness and to encourage all members of society to fulfil certain mental rules.
