Abstract
Modern approaches to the creation and functioning of the system of branch councils in the countries of Europe are considered. The priorities of modernizing Ukraine's social policy in the sphere of creating a system of branch councils are determined. A system of interaction of social partners within the framework of the implementation of the national system of qualifications has been developed, as well as an institutional mechanism for approving professional standards in Ukraine.
