Abstract
The article is devoted to the semantic description of wild herbs names in Korean and Yakut languages. The medicinal plants from the list in this article are widely used both in Korean and in the Yakut ethnoscience. A description of their phonetic and lexical characteristics was given. The feature similarity and differences of phy- tonyms of Korean and Yakut is shown and explained too. A comparative analysis of phytonyms in the Yakut and Korean languages helped to compare two linguistic world-images, to understand the common and different fea- tures in the culture of the two nations, to identify sustainable associations
