Abstract

The article deals with the problem of management relations in the social work; analyzed the overall situation and especially the training of social workers; illuminated scientific approaches of management in social work; defines the methods of management in system of social work; substantiated management methods functional subsystems of the institutions of social work, methods of performance of the functions of the department of social work, methods of managerial decision-making in the field of social work. Modernization of education is aimed at finding effective scientific approaches to formation of professional competence of social workers. In this context, important is the fact that the development of professional skills of future social workers depends on established administrative relations in the system of social work. In modern conditions of education development in Ukraine the priority is the development of new content, methods of training and education of social workers. Given the current educational realities, an important place is occupied a number of positions of pedagogical innovations, which direct the activities of specialists at the comprehensive development in the field of social work at building their creativity, skills and ability to find new ways to solve practical problems, applying acquired knowledge in professional activities. Training of social workers is of particular relevance, since it must be aimed at formation of personality, which can lead to productive management activity in modern conditions. In terms of fundamental reform and modernization of the conceptual, organizational and structural bases of national education plays a major role as a managerial activity, which depends on the level of development of social management. Given these developments, it becomes urgent the need for training managers in social work, able to meet the challenges of time to create, perceive and implement innovations, to be competent and mobile on the modern labor market, to have a deep sense of responsibility for the fate of the country, its socio-economic prosperity. Managers in social work understand what management as a practical discipline; can be very effective managers, with competence in the use of methods, tools and techniques.
