Abstract

The analysis of scientific literature makes it possible to argue that there is an ambiguous understanding of the justice phenomenon meaning and, consequently, the absence of tools required to study a particular parameter now. While justice is the subject of many sciences study (philosophy, law, sociology, psychology), the problem of the definition of this concept is not still resolved. At the present stage of the law science development there has been a sociological approach to the study of justice outlined, which aims to study the relationship of subjects in law. The article aims to determine the structure, criteria, indicators and the levels of students' law awareness on a jurisprudence specialty. The law reality is a special branch of social life, which is predetermined by law and its impact on social relations. With the help of law awareness the reflection of law reality occurs and involves comprehension and understanding of the value and importance of law; assessment of law; awareness of the importance and significance of the law system creation and its development; perception of the law process and results; the ratio of legal values with other values (moral, political, national, patriotic, etc.). The structure of law awareness is a set of interrelated and interacting components that ensure its integrity, development and operation. Individual, group, public consciousness and everyday, scientific, professional law awareness are traditionally distinguished as structural elements. The structure of law awareness is a set of complex formations, which differ only in strictly defined correlation and irregularity in separate spheres of law awareness development. Law awareness is a direct law conductor in social activities. The student's law awareness becomes possible to define with taking into consideration the main personal characteristics of the individual the content of which are his attitude, motivation, intelligence, emotional and volitional spheres. The student's law awareness is also a kind of personality structure that includes knowledge in law, evaluative attitude to law, and the ability to construct legal behavior under current legislation. Thus, the theoretical analysis of the problem of law awareness, its content and specific, individual justice can be considered as a dynamic personal education, which provides the ability of the future lawyer to self-orientation and self-determination in laws on the basis of knowledge and skills in law; evaluative attitude to law, law systems and values.
