Abstract

The article analyzes the process of transforming the traditional social risks of labor migrants into new forms. In the conditions of formation of a postindustrial society, the traditional identification of social risks with the regulatory and legal fixation of socially significant circumstances gives way to a new understanding. It has been proved that the new social risks have become a challenge for the state of the general welfare, as previously they were either not recognized, or were not widely distributed, or were outside the competence of the state. Increase the intensity and scale of international migration of recent years actualizes a deeper study of the situation of people in employment, which is due to travel abroad. International migration was not only an important factor for mutual enrichment of cultures, but also factor in the export of various kinds of dangers and risks. The involvement of Ukraine in the international exchange of human resources defined by its special geographical location and active supply of labor in other countries. Research social risks of international migrants acquires status for Ukraine's main tool to ensure public safety. The purpose of the article id to outline the main features of the new social risks of international migrants. The research results are the following: the article has analyzed the process of transforming the traditional social risks of labor migrants into new forms. In conditions of formation of a postindustrial society, the traditional identification of social risks with the regulatory and legal fixation of socially significant circumstances gives way to a new understanding. It is proved that the new social risks have become a challenge for the state of the general welfare, as previously they were either not recognized, or were not widely distributed, or were outside the competence of the state. Social risks are introduced into the daily lives of migrants by their own activities. The traditional approach, identifying social risks with normative legal confirmation of socially significant circumstances, eliminates the problem of identifying social risks. Compensation mechanism simplifies the institutionalization of social risks, but becomes an obstacle to further research and management.
