UPBRINGING OF THE CULTURE OF THE NEEDS OF UKRAINIANS IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING UKRAINIAN STUDIES

Introduction. The author of the article focuses on the spiritual and cultural values of Ukrainians as the most important stabilizing factors of social life. Purpose. The importance of creating a culture of needs on the bases of Ukrainian traditions while studying subjects of Ukrainoznavstvo cycle was proved. Results. The attention was focused on the role of culture, its development and functioning as a special way of life of the ethnos, its worldview that gives the reason to exist. The author lighted up Ukrainoznavstvo as an integral system of knowledge about people, its traditional culture, knowledge, life, nature, ethnic history. Originality. The content of Ukrainoznavstvo while preparing students-philologists was emphasized. The essence of concentre «Ukraine – culture» was explained. Such notions as «culture», «need», «cultural needs» of an individual were analyzed and the ways of their formation while studying Ukrainoznavstvo were shown. Conclusion. The objectives of education in formation of cultural needs and development of intellectual potential of society on the basis of Ukrainoznavstvo was showed. All that is very important due to all globalization processes that have led to the erosion of the system of cultural configurations of nations and gradual destruction of cultural peculiarities and traditions. It was summarized that the basis of formation of traditional Ukrainian culture needs only could be done by means of studying Ukrainoznavstvo subjects
