Abstract

Introduction. In order to improve the quality of educational reform in Ukraine it is necessary to mobilize the joint efforts of scientists, politicians and community. The analysis of educational heritage is extremely important. Modern understanding of pedagogical ideas of great scientists of the past can help in resolving not only the urgent educational problems, but also to reveal new social context of their use. Purpose. The purpose of the article is making a theoretical methodological analysis of pedagogical heritage of А. Zakharenko, and also determining and analyzing the social and psychological context of the ideas of pedagogy of cooperation. Methods. Here are applied interdisciplinary research methods which are used both in social psychology and pedagogy, namely the method of data collection, theoretical analysis, generalization and synthesis. Results. The result of the theoretical research is reasoning of the need of social competence development of contemporary teachers and the producing a training of development of social competence that can be used in the practice of teachers' post-graduate education. Originalitу. Modern understanding of A. Zakharenko's pedagogical heritage in the context of its social and psychological usefulness in modern Ukrainian realities, and the producing a training of development of a teacher's social competence, which is a system of logically related classes in developing skills of social perception, social thinking, social interaction and destruction of harmful stereotypes. Conclusion. The problematic area of reforming educational space in Ukraine is identified. The heritage of the great Ukrainian teacher A. Zakharenko in socio-psychological context of usage of ideas of cooperation pedagogy is reviewed. The socio-psychological analysis of teacher's personal features which are demanded by the Concept of the new Ukrainian school is done. The necessity of the formation and development of social competences of modern teachers is determined. The training of developing teachers' social competence is worked out, which can be used in the practice of post-graduate education of teachers. The prospects for further research. The prospects for further research are in the elaboration and implementation of social and psychological trainings for modern teachers in post-graduate education. They contribute to the formation and development of instrumental-stylish and motivational-semantic characteristics that ensure consistency aspirations and readiness for self-expression in socially useful activities.
