USAGE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES WHILE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN GUARD ACTIVITIES

Abstract
Introduction. At the edge of the third millenium the world science and technique have faced the issues of scientific and cyberspace globalization. Improvement of professional training system requires application of new methods of special training and retraining of specialists of guard activity. Information resources have become the property of civilization and powerful factor in technological progress as well. Today information communication technologies (further – ICT) being a collection of modern methods and means of receiving and processing data transformed to leverage efficiency of the educational process and management. Given the present demands, the future specialists of guard activity are required to be aware of economic knowledge, have high general culture, possess foreign language, show initiative, be responsible, strive for self-improvement and self-education, innovate, and last but not least acquire skills of computer technology. Purpose is to justify the use of information technology in the professional training of guard activity specialist. Results. New information technologies are firmly established in all spheres of our society. Computer and information technologies application greatly increases the effectiveness of the learning process through its individualization feedback possibility, but the complexity and diversity of the problem, theoretical underdevelopment of many of its aspects show the importance of further special studies. In addition, there is a contradiction between the existing level of skills, obligatory for future experts in guard activity in conditions of informatized education and training requirements for guard activity specialist. Originality. Information technology application has been thoroughly analyzed within professional training of guard activity specialist; the concepts of professional training of guard activity specialists in information technology application have been arranged. Conclusion. ICT application in education and directly in guard activity specialists is a total necessity. ICT introduction within the educational process ensures a smooth education transition on a new qualitative level. ICT have a positive effect on all components of the education system: objectives, contents, methods and organizational learning, learning tools that can solve complex and urgent task of education for the development of intellectual creativity, analytical thinking and self-teaching staff.
