Abstract

Introduction. The main task of higher pedagogical education is a professional training of an up-to-date specialist, who works and educates youth for living in society, when changes of ideas, knowledge, technologies are happening much faster than the changes of people's generation therefore, the problem of such specialists' training is one of the most relevant is pedagogy. Modern society is characterized by the following features: rapprochement of nations, interests, government. Especially it is noticed in education field, which is characterized as “education without borders”. Integration of higher education and science of Ukraine into the European and worldwide community is getting more dynamic and advanced, and most importantly, it makes domestic scientists be responsible for modernization of programs, lesson plans, textbooks and new progressive methods teaching. Purpose. The aim of the article is to define the peculiarities of project methods and to identify the relevance of its usage at the time of future teacher training for realization of educational purpose with student (pupils) of elementary school. Methods. Among numerous innovative methods, which are used in a process of a future teacher training, a project method has particular value, that is studied as an individual structural unit of an educational establishment. A project method in pedagogy is stated as a combination of effective actions that are aimed at (directed to) getting scientific information and scientific facts for creation a real object of theoretical or practical product. Results. A carried on out investigation proves that project accomplishing lets teachers save a problem, connected to a providing of system thinking , its inclination to get new knowledge. Originality. A project method gives an opportunity to its educational process participants, to pass to subject relationship, leads to an individual, strait forward, motivating and regulative activity of the future teachers. Conclusion. By doing it, future teachers get some skills to use results of theoretical knowledge in order to solve educational and investigative tasks while working with sources. They learn how to make hypothesis, plan and conduct diagnosis, observation and experimentation, they get relevant data, analyze and generalize them, making conclusions etc.
