Abstract
The predictors of the attitude to body image in girls were studied. 100 respondents aged 18-25 took part in the research. The research was carried out with the usage of seven questionnaires allowing to determine the level of satisfaction with their own bodies, interrelations with the inner circle and self-sentiment in the world. The results were processed by means of quality test, descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis (predictors: attitude to the past, attitude to the opposite sex, attitude to mother, extraversion, control over bodily instincts); to compare the average indices the Kruskal-Wallis test was used.
