Abstract

Introduction. The immediacy of studying scribing as a mean of developing the visual thinking of future primary school teachers is determined by the fact that scribing has powerful capabilities to increase the effectiveness of the development of graphic perception, visual thinking and the formation of skills of visualization information. Purpose. To analyze the ways of using scribing as a mean of developing the visual thinking of future primary school teachers. Results. The ability to think visually is the indicator of professionalism in many spheres of science and technology. Therefore, in the educational process of future primary school teachers training it is necessary to use modern means and ways of visual thinking development. Scribing is one of the tools that complements and enhances educational process by usage of simple images and contributes to the effective development of visual thinking. The lecture of a teacher, given with the help of simple, but at the same time, understandable drawings helps to organize the process of learning easily, informally and lively. It is known that any task is easier to solve with the help of elementary images. A picture created by a teacher during explanation of a new topic contributes to a better understanding of the educational material by junior pupils. A lesson with the use of scribing, when a teacher demonstrates the logical combination of images and educational material, is taught in a positive atmosphere and contributes to a conscious perception of knowledge. Originality. It is proved that one of the ways of developing the visual thinking of future primary school teachers is the ability to explain the educational material, to visualize their own creative ideas or projects with the means of scribing. Students during the course «Labor Study with the Workshop» produce thematic elements of applications from various materials (paper, cardboard, textiles, natural and artificial materials) that can be used for demonstration application, magnetic, flannelography or combinative scribing during the educational process in elementary school. For the evolvement of visual thinking, first of all, it is worth developing the students' perception of stylized forms, the ability to create their own pictograms on a given topic, ex-librises and logos. This practice gives the opportunity to accumulate the experience of the imaging of stylized forms, independent creative search and revealing their own scribing style. Practical tasks allow solving a number of educational and pedagogical tasks: the formation of visual perception and thinking, the development of graphic skills, the ability to establish causal relationships and independently generate new knowledge. Conclusion. Scribing helps simply and in a short time explain the educational problem, activate cognitive activity, generalize and systematize a large amount of information, analyze the creative project. Explaining the educational material with simple images makes the learning process positive, understandable and interesting that meets the needs of elementary education. It should be noted that the development of visual thinking of future primary school teachers by means of scribing allows performing educational process in accordance with requirements of modern visual and communicative space.
