Abstract

Introduction. The didactic local geography game, being a simple near to student by the method of cognition of surrounding reality, must be the most natural and accessible way to the capture by those or other knowledge, abilities, skills. Existent necessity for a rational to the construction, organization and application of her in the process of studies and education requires her more her careful and detailed study. The use of playing the studies of geography decides many tasks. They develop cognitive interest to the object, activate educational activity of pupils on a lesson promote to becoming of creative personality of pupil, so as much from them often have problem character of studies, there is a question on that it is necessary to give an answer. Purpose in the article investigated psychological and pedagogical he use of didactic local geography games on the lessons of physical geography of Ukraine. Methods, in the article used such research methods: search on existing methodological and scientific literature with the analysis of found material, the identification of causal relationships, systematization, abstraction and specification, analysis of documentation and results of researchers on the issue of research. Results. The conducted research confirmed the effectiveness of use of didactic local geography games on the lessons of physical geography of Ukraine and allowed to outline the perspective directions of future research. Originality. However, the program does not proclaim that pupils should be introduced to mapping knowledge, what they got in previous classes, so the lesson should be updated actual cartographic knowledge «scale», «conventional symbols», «azimuth», «geographical coordinates», etc. Investigation of image techniques of geographic objects, objects and phenomena is unthinkable without the assessment of such a concept as generalization. Although it is not in the program, it needs to be introduced at the level of presentation in this lesson. Most widespread direction of extracurricular activity from geography, where apply playing technology, it tourist- local geography. In this aspect he is realized by organization of flights and tourist competitions, competitions and contest with the elements of sporting orientation or orientation on locality after certain objects and others like that. Conclusion. The use of this form of studies testifies in geographical education of students shows that the formation of a responsible attitude to the environment through communication in game situations revives all that, that the lessons are usually squeezed into the narrow scope of the program. And most importantly, the students begin to actively act, meditate, survive, and make decisions. Prospects for further research in this direction – use of computerized of didactic local geography games on the lessons of physical geography of Ukraine.
