Abstract
A review of the monograph by E. S. Mordas «Psychoanalysis of the feminine» includes an overview of the main substantive aspects of the monograph, namely: the theme of femininity and female identity in psy- choanalysis, the psychoanalysis of menstruation, the psychoanalysis of pregnancy and the inability to mother- hood, a psychoanalytic view of suppressed femininity and envy of pregnancy and fantasy about pregnancy in men.
