Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the problem of self-regulation of behavior of individuals, conducted with the participation of high school teachers, as studied. The basic concepts that the study considers, are the theory of differential emotions of K. Izard and the theory of attention proposed by P.Ya. Galperin. The development of specific methods of self-regulation described in the work is connected with the reliance on the concept of emotional intelligence. The proposed method of self-regulation of emotional states on the markers of behavioral changes is based on the management of attention, which is the central process in this case.
