Abstract
The research aimed to analyze the factors that hinder the inclusion of history and african-Brazilian and African culture in pedagogical practices in the disciplines of high school the state school St. Francis of Assisi in Aripuanã municipality of Mato Grosso Brazil in 2013, clarifying the factors that hinder the inclusion of history and africanBrazilian and African culture in the practices of teachers in high school subjects. The methodology was qualitative descriptive approach, based on the documentary analysis of Law No. 10639/2003, the (LDB), the instrument was based on the analysis of guide textbooks. It was noticed that the Laws are presented failures, transferring the responsibility for compliance of the same only to teachers and school, the study contributed to the development of new methodologies and an anti-racist education that respects the different ethnic groups and cultures especially in History teaching, being in fact an important reality in the school curriculum.
