Abstract
The main purpose of this investigation is to know if there are some relationship between the self-esteem level which people with mental disabilities have and the way of doing their applied work (containing or no the art). The research's methodology is mixed (quantitative and qualitative) and it has a descriptive and correlational design. The resilience index, which I have chosen in the research, has been the global selfesteem level of people with mental disabilities. The results show how the method of work which includes the artistic elements increases the global self-esteem level rather than other traditional methods
