Abstract
This paper aims to carry out an initial survey on social inclusion and socio-emotional relationships of students participating in a Curricular Diversification Programme at a Secondary Education institution in the province of Granada, Spain. In order to achieve this goal, the process has been conceived as action research, understood as a continuous cycle of enquiry and research which aims to improve the education activity by proposing action on the areas analysed during the process. It is thus a circular and constantly changing process in which, once the problem has been identified, information is collected in order to diagnose the student's needs, followed by analysis and orientation for improvement. The process then reverts to the first step to ascertain if the proposed action has been effective and to diagnose any remaining needs.
