Abstract
Nursing education has been demanding certain characteristics of the professionals who are inserted in them and who wish to remain competitive, seeking peculiar characteristics among them students with affinity for health. This study aims to know the reasons that lead the subjects to enroll in the course Of nursing graduation and describe the profile of the participants regarding socioeconomic and school parameters and their perspectives. The present study used the methodology of the quantitative approach which is based on its outline some specific issues and problems adopting as a means the use of instruments And interviews. The population of the research was delimited due to the divergence among the specialists regarding the criteria of grouping by age group. It was chosen in this thesis by grouping adults between 19 to 34 years old, age group that fit the field of the research.
