Abstract

The system of education in Ukraine is going through intensive reforming and modernization. The importance of further research regarding the issues which pertain the strategies for developing a corporate culture of an educational institution and a university community corporate culture is emphasized in the article. The educational environment in the higher education institution is a favourable factor that could be used to develop the future teacher's corporate culture. It contributes to the development of the future teachers' self-development, the development of their personal potential and social maturity. The concept of the future teacher's corporate culture refers to a wide scope of how teachers realize the corporate goals and values of the educational institution. It covers the norms of the professional groups and how these norms are observed and shared within teachers' professional activities. It also regulates relations with representatives of other social groups involved in the institution. It expresses the desire to promote the positive image of an educational institution. The content and features of the teacher's corporate culture reflect the corporate culture of an educational institution. So, the teachers' corporate culture and social maturity optimize the process of socialization to the professional activity within the educational environment, helps to get involved into different responsibilities performed by the faculty. The teacher's corporate culture, as well as social activity, social self-determination and social responsibility, that characterize his / her level of social maturity have a great impact on the effectiveness of the socialization process within the new social environment. The concept of teachers' social maturity is referred to as a certain degree of self-development, that allows the acquisition of different types of culture, as well as allows the participation in various activities which could effectively benefit others. The notion of social maturity is considered as the level of self-development determined by a wide range of activities. Depending on the scope of its manifestation, social maturity is a person's ability to interact with the environment. Educational and professional training are the factors that develop the future teacher's personal corporate culture and social maturity. Therefore, the prospects of further scientific research are to outline the ways how to develop social maturity effectively and to form the corporate culture of the future teachers at higher education institutions.
