Abstract
The micro- and macro structural organization of the English prosaic literary text of the post-modern period is examined. The particular attention dedicated to the stylistic expressive means based on the principle of extension of initial model, i.e. repetition, enumeration, syntactic tautology, polysyndeton. The syntactic models selected by the method of entire selection as the components of specific literary code are studied. This research demonstrates that the usage of stylistic means based on the principle of extension of initial model foresees the strengthening of pragmatic effect, dynamics and rhythm of utterance.
