Abstract
The universally recognized principles of international law are the norms, which have the higher legal force. These principles constitute the right jus cogens and have to be observed by all States parties of the international relations. The principles of the international law, which are important for criminal trial, are listed in this article; the author reviews concrete examples of its action during proceedings in criminal cases.
