Abstract
This article is devoted to the orphanhood problem in Kazakhstan. The problem of the help to orphans and children left without parental care demands not only associations of efforts of social workers, psychologists and teachers in development of individual techniques of work with each child who has appeared in orphanage, shelter, half-way house, after the boarding school. At the present stage of development, it is extremely necessary to take measures for improvement of the domestic legislation at various levels for rendering the effective help to the specified category of children in the various branches of activity.
