Abstract
Renal hydatidosis is rare, representing only 2-3 percent of hydatid disease. We report a case of right renal hydatidosis in a 56 year old lady presenting with intermittent flank pain, intermittent fever and macroscopic hydatiduria for 2 years. Ultrasound, CT and MRI images showed features of right renal hydatidosis with rupture into the renal pelvicalyceal system. The patient underwent right nephroureterectomy and histology report was consistent with hydatid cyst.
