The fascicle of Abû Abdurrahman Mohammed b. Mohammed b. Abdurrahman b. Abû Bekir Mohammed b. Abû Tevbe el-Kush-mîhenî (d. 578/1182) titled“Selected Hadiths from Mohammed b. Being in Suleymaniye Library, the fascicle is composed of two chapters. While there are 100 ha-diths selected from Sahih Bukhari in the first chapter, there are 12 hadiths in the second chapter starting with the expression “from this chapter”. In the fascicle, the narrators of the hadiths up to the Tabi'in period are composed of narrators with the name Mohammad. This fascicle illustrates how hadith scholars in particular collect-ed the hadith texts in so many different ways and proves their re-markable efforts to pass on these hadiths to the next generations. Another important and valuable aspect of this fascicle is that the hadiths were narrated with their chain of narrators after about a century when the hadith narration with the chain of narrators was fully completed. Our study consists of four chapters and introduction.
