Ibn al-Kabâkıbî and his Contributions to the Science of Kırâat

Kabâkıbî is someone who is known for being the author of the references applied in the Islamic world and especially in the works related to the shaz kırâats in our country, is compared to the famous kıraat scholar İbnü'l-Cezerî by the scholars in the society in which he lives and is found more fluent, and still not well-known. kabâkıbî, who had been taught until the end of a certain period with the method he provided in the ottoman period, came to the forefront among the kurras of his time. thus, we consider the introduction of this precious person who also served in the position of şeyhü'l-kurrâ, educated hundreds of students and continued teaching kırâat until the end of his life as an important issue. In this study, the author's students and the works he published were examined in the context of his life, his teachers, his scientific personality and his contributions to kırâat science. the contribution of this research to scientific studies in our country will be to reveal the contributions of the founder of the kabâkıbî concept, which had been taught in the ottoman Empire for hundreds of years, and his contributions to the kırâat science.
