Abstract
Lviv in history of Reborn Poland became not only a city oriented on modernity and develepment, but also having great and glorious tradition which developed during partition. Heroism of the citizens of Lviv went down in history of the city due to the valour of Lviv Eaglets during the retake of Lviv. Geopolitical position of the city predisposed it to serve as a commercial liaison of the East and the West. A 600-year anniversary of connecting Lviv with Poland was enthusiastically planned for 1940.
