Abstract
Eastern Trade Fair was one of the most ambitious of commercial and industrial projects in pre-war Poland. It complied with geopolitical conditions and tendencies of development in Europe at that time. The project caused dynamic development of the city, original architecture and culture of Lviv and it's region. Eastern Trade Fair has been visited by the most important figures in the country. World War II put an end to the initiative.
