System analysis of constructive conflict of personality

Abstract

In psychological science, a lot of experience has been accumulated in the implementation of the principle of consistency in relation to various problems. This also applies to conflict issues. However, the potential of the principle of consistency in relation to the development of the problem of conflict is not sufficiently realized. It is stated that numerous studies related to the problems of conflict «feed» mainly internal prerequisites and manifestations of destructive conflict. While constructive conflict remains, usually, without attention of researchers. Defined and justified the basic levels of analysis of constructive research conflict of personality: the value-motivational criterion value relevant to the subject matter of the conflict and the importance of maintaining relations with the partner; cognitive, according to the criterion of awareness of possible contradictions and consequences of conflict, reflexive evaluation, the criterion features of awareness and self-evaluation of own individual and psychological characteristics; regulatory, according to the criterion of ability to solve conflicts in a constructive way. A focus on the systemic approach in the selection of indicators of constructive conflict personality can be attributed to the most important: the desire to be worthy of presentation to the world with the objectives, interests and needs of other subjects; motivation for mastering new ways of reacting and setting a positive tone for successful conflict resolution; tolerance for uncertainty; notsituation thinking; flexibility of thinking; anticipation; reflection; emotional stability; notsituation activity and self-control.The theoretical model of the study of constructive conflict expands the idea of the properties of personality and opens up new opportunities for various psychological practices.
