Prospects for the development of information and communication technologies in the customs activities of the Donetsk People's Republic

The article discusses the trends in the introduction of information and communication technologies into the activities of customs structures, which make it possible to automate the implementation of customs operations to the greatest extent possible. The world practice of applying innovative technologies of customs control and declaring goods and vehicles by the customs authorities has been analyzed. The advantages of using information and communication technologies, including the service of remote payments of customs duties forindividuals, have been indicated. The directions for improvement and development of the information and communication technologies in the Donetsk People's Republic have been presented.
