State regulation of improving innovative activity under modern conditions of economic development

The article considers the issues related to the state regulation of developing the innovative component of the economy, as well as the tasks related to the development of production potential and stimulation of the transition of industrial production to a higher technological level in terms of external and internal challenges and threats to economic development. Following the scientific analysis, the main task of state regulation in improving the level of innovative activity under modern conditions of economic development has been formulated. It has been substantiated that the formation and improvement of the innovative component of economic development should be carried out on the basis of an integrated approach with the direct participation of government bodies and production structures. The author developed the suggestions and recommendations on the state regulation of improving the level of innovative activity, taking into account the characteristics of economic development.
