Abstract
The article deals with the analysis of national legislation on waste management and disposal in accordance with European Union standards. Ukraine, as a European integration country, has an obligation to harmonize the Іntеrnаtіоnаl Scіеntіfіc Jоurnаl “Іntеrnаukа” http://www.іntеr-nаukа.cоm/ Іntеrnаtіоnаl Scіеntіfіc Jоurnаl “Іntеrnаukа” http://www.іntеr-nаukа.cоm/ rules governing waste management in accordance with those of the European Union. To date, this issue has an urgent need to address, because, according to the indicators, the amount of unused waste in the territory of Ukraine exceeds the permissible norm. However, the solution to the problem of waste management must first and foremost be through the introduction of effective legislative regulation of waste management, which should be based on the study of national peculiarities in dealing with this issue and the positive experience of European legislation.
