Design of improvement of the content of formation of competence of pharmacoeconomic justification of rational pharmacotherapy in the process of professional training of masters of pharmacy

Abstract

The article analyzes the aspects of designing and improving the content of pharmacoeconomic substantiation of rational pharmacotherapy in the process of professional training of masters of pharmacy, summarizes the advanced trends of modernization of the pharmaceutical industry and educational practice of teaching economics and pharmacoeconomics in particular in system of higher education institutions. In general, one of the leading trends in the modernization of the pharmaceutical industry is the widespread use of pharmacoeconomic methods to determine the volume of purchases of specific drugs; development of the list of the basic medicines; drawing up protocols for treatment and diagnosis of patients; development of drug forms to improve the system of drug supply to the population. It is established that for effective implementation of innovative changes in the educational process it is advisable to supplement the content modules with modernized content, which includes best practices of professional training of masters of pharmacy in universities of the European Union, reasonable use of pharmaceutical industry innovations in teaching. That to improve the content of the educational process of pharmacoeconomic training of future masters of pharmacy it is advisable to supplement the content modules and develop a scheme of phased application of a set of pharmacoeconomic analysis methods and a rational approach to evaluating medical technologies based on evidence-based medicine and pharmacy. The implementation of the modern concept of economic education is associated with the choice of tools and methods of teaching, which are the basis of teaching methods. In terms of university autonomy, the teacher must be relatively free to choose the methods of distribution of educational material and teaching methods, in methodological problems and teaching aids (situations, tasks, professional situational games, cases of professional tasks), because the effectiveness of pedagogical action depends on their rational combination. According to the results of the system analysis, the prospects of improving the educational process based on the introduction of best practices in the use of medical technologies in world medical practice, providing therapeutic efficacy, are pharmaco economical justified, solving problem situations of medical technology selection using a comprehensive and systematic pharmacoeconomic approach future masters of pharmacy in university of Ukraine.
