Interaction of family and school as an important condition for the effectiveness of the educational process

Abstract

The article theoretically substantiates the problem of interaction between family and school as an important condition for the effectiveness of the educational process. It is determined that the school of the XXI century is an open educational system focused on modernization and diversification of family-school interaction. Improving family upbringing is one of the most important problems, the solution of which will determine the future of our society, the moral face of the younger generation. It was found that the effectiveness of family education depends on the pedagogical culture of parents, the ability to identify the main areas of educational work with children, to focus on those aspects of personal development of the child, which can not be provided by other educational situations. It is characterized that the pedagogical culture of parents is a component of the general culture of the person which is embodied in creative educational activity and promotes formation of spiritually rich and comprehensively developed personality. The level of formation of pedagogical culture is decisive in the work of the educator, teacher and educational activities of parents; characterizes the content of their relationship with children; provides self-knowledge, self-development, self-improvement of the person by mastering the experience gained by mankind of education of young generations. It was found that for the education of a comprehensive and harmoniously developed personality of the child, parents need a wealth of knowledge about the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the child, its needs, interests and values; ability to select and apply the acquired knowledge in practice, to create a psychologically comfortable atmosphere in the family. To accomplish these tasks, parents need to interact with the school. It is substantiated that the upbringing of children in the family and school is an inseparable process with a single goal, which is focused not only on the joint efforts of school and the family in the education of schoolchildren, but also on their educational interaction in this process. Its implementation involves the only targeted cooperation in interdependent activities in the system of relations between parents and teachers. It is concluded that the effectiveness of the entire educational system of the educational institution is ensured primarily by the interaction of teachers with parents of students, the approval of parents as subjects of a holistic educational process.
