Diagnostics results of future psychologists 'readiness for professional mobility

Abstract

The study «Readiness of future psychologists for professional mobility» is defined as a dynamic, integrative quality of personality, which in the conditions of high dynamism of social relations indicates the internal readiness of the individual for qualitative changes (the content of professional activity); the ability to getting and generalizing new professional knowledge and skills quickly (gnostic, interactive-communicative, diagnostic, design, etc) is indentified; readiness for decision-making and the ability to adapt in the case of changes in the tasks of the practical psychologist; flexibility of behavior and activity-based reaction, which provides the effectiveness of professional activity and competence at a high level in all areas of psy counseling. The thesis research reveals the essence and defines the structure of the readiness of future psychologists for professional mobility in a combination of four components: motivational-axiological, cognitive, operational-technological, personal-reflexive; criteria for the readiness of future psychologists for professional mobility and their indicators: the system of value orientations of future psychologists (whether future psychologists have a stable motivation to obtain professionally significant knowledge; focus on self-realization in professional activities; the realization of the social significance of the profession of a psychologist and the importance being ready for professional mobility for them; the presence of a conscious internal need for professional mobility and the value attitude of future psychologists to professional mobility); the readiness for professional mobility is formed proceeding from the system of professional knowledge (the acquisition of professional (theoretical) knowledge in the specialty; the ability to solve professional (psychological) situations independently; knowledge of the psychological foundations of professional mobility; the amount of knowledge about the essence, content, and features of professional mobility of future psychologists); the level of practical readiness of future psychologists for professional mobility (the ability to master various types of professional knowledge independently; the degree of forming the ability to predict professional activities and the consequences of their actions; professional initiative, cognitive and creative activity; the ability to design their own professional development, modeling the process of developing their own professional mobility); the ability to self-attitude their own readiness for professional mobility in order to increase its level (the ability to selfconsciousness, the ability to evaluate one's own professional and personal capabilities; the formedness of positive «Self-concept»; the formedness of self-attitude skills of one's own readiness for professional mobility in order to improve it; professionally important qualities of a psychologist (openness to changes, creativity, flexibility, confidence in humanity and in themselves, tolerance, independence, sense of purpose, communication skills, ability to adapt in a group, emotional-volitional readiness to decisions making, etc.) and the levels of formedness of readiness of future psychologists for professional mobility: indifferent, basic, productive.
