Abstract
Today, in the present conditions, the role of the Russian language, as one of the most important languages of the world, increases day by day, the scope of this language and the geography of its study are also expanding. The problem of teaching Russian language to foreign students is devoted to a number of studies by such authors as: A.P. Aksenova, VD Vinogradov, E.I. Passov, K.A. Rogova, A.N. Shchukin, I.A. Zimnaya, A.N. Khomitskaya, V.G. Kostomarov and etc. In these studies, issues of the correct implementation of the Russian as a foreign language in teaching process and the formation of speech activity are considered.
The formation of speech activity and the study of any foreign language, including Russian, begins with phonetics and the formation of phonetic skills among students. In this article we will consider only some problems of the formation of phonetic skills of Russian speech among Iranian students in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language .
