Abstract
The library and the school operate in one information space and serve as a single source of knowledge for students. Therefore, the effectiveness of promoting innovation in the educational process depends to a large extent on the status of partnerships between books and universities. The university library is an information center because it occupies a special place in the university and is the information base of scientific-educational and educational processes. Understanding this, the scientific library tries to promptly respond to requests, because libraries play a leading role in the creation of electronic arrays of scientific knowledge and the organization of access to them and use in the teaching and scientific activities of educational institutions. The vectors for the development of automation processes in the library are the formation of an information field, the provision of quick access to information, the provision of quality and prompt bibliographic and information services to users. The article deals with the use of information resources of libraries in institutions of higher education, reveals the main directions of use of digital resources. The urgency of using information resources of libraries in order to improve the quality level of students' professional education and their scientific activity is determined.
