Psychological and pedagogical training of future teachers (on the example of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovak Republic)

The structure of training features of teacher usually includes the following specifics: qualitative multidisciplinary training of a modern teacher according to European standards; The psychological and pedagogical component of the content is half the total volume of training; a wide range of educational disciplines, including psychological and pedagogical, the list and educational programs which are updated taking into account modern requirements, as well as regional specifics; a clear system of different types of pedagogical practice during all four semesters in which students are involved in various types of pedagogical activities; creation of conditions for the implementation of the principle of electivity in education through the free choice of a large number of academic disciplines by students; use of modern methods and forms of training (especially microteaching), as well as diagnostics of learning outcomes that have the appropriate professional and practical orientation; wide informatization of the learning process; a combination of daytime and extramural education; involvement of students in international and national scientific projects. The authors of the article present three blocks of psychological, pedagogical and other educational disciplines for the students on the example of the speciality "History and Mathematics Teacher", as well as types of pedagogical practice in each semester and the main tasks for students.
