Psychological principles of the study of the vitability of the individual

Abstract
The purpose of the article: theoretically substantiate the psychological foundations of the study of the viability of the individual. The article deals with the theoretical analysis of the characteristics of the main methodological approaches, on the basis of which human viability research develops. It has been determined that the interpretation of viability as a long-term ability to maintain a person's important properties as a combination of system stability and its adaptability, self-identity and relevancy, utility, suitability, optimality and lack of optimality in the short term - less important, but more relevant here and now. Different approaches in foreign psychology are analyzed, where scientists most often refer to cognitive-behavioral, constructivist, ecological approach. It is noted that the sustainability is understood as the ability for a long time to save important properties of the individual or in the short term - less important but more urgent here and now; as a combination of the stability of the system and its adaptability, identity and resiliency, utility, suitability, optimality and non-optimality, such as the transfer of intuitively faithful, but in the scientific plan, insufficiently substantiated characteristics, such as the integral quality of a person possessing a set of value orientations, personal settings, versatile abilities, basic knowledge that allows it to function successfully and to develop harmoniously in a changing society. It should be noted that at this stage of the study of viability there are no similar ones elaboration in area of research of people who are on the territory of carrying out anti-terrorist operations, that is, participants in hostilities. Prospects for the study of socio-psychological aspects of viability of combatants.
