Formation of professional competence of future specialists of pre-school education in the process of learning of nature cycle disciplines

Abstract

A necessary component of professional competence of future teachers of preschool children are natural history education that helps to know and understand the world around, to make life guidance, to form the actual vision of man's place in nature, intensify the need for self-education and self-improvement, and therefore promotes professional growth of future specialists formation general professional competence, ecological thinking, valuable attitude to nature. In terms of updating contents of natural history education, great importance has been put on the introduction of new technology competency approach into the studying subjects of Natural cycles that contribute to the formation of personal and professional qualities of future teachers, learning ability throughout life. Meanwhile, in modern organizations of competent approach to the organization of the learning process of natural science of the future teachers in higher educational institutions there are certain contradictions that hinder qualitative training of future professionals, in particular between: the aim of Natural science education for future teachers of pre-school education and a set of pedagogical tools for its implementation; requirements to natural history and environmental educator, which involves the formation of preschoolers elements of ecological worldview, ecological knowledge, the development of positive emotional and valuable attitude to the environment and the level of its representation in the content of natural science education; the necessity of the formation of ecological culture of the future teacher and underestimation of this factor in content subjects of Natural cycle; the necessity of implementing the personality-oriented forms, methods and technologies of training and lack of preparedness of high school teachers to use them. Resolving these contradictions requires a rethinking of the purpose, functions, and tasks of training future educators of Natural science in pre-schools, upgrade the main component of training, methodological support adjustment, updating methods of teacher's activity and expanding it technology cooperation in accordance with the requirements of competence approach in acquiring professional teacher education.
